Building Schools, Building Community

Strong schools create strong communities by attracting businesses, increasing property values, and expanding service and partnership opportunities between schools and the community. Families are choosing QCUSD as their destination of choice, where their students can grow, build strong roots and branch out to lead within the community. We look forward to the future, and are planning to build three new elementary schools and a new high school. These facilities will allow us to manage growth and meet the demands of our neighborhoods.

Growing our Students for the Future

Growing our next community leaders and career professionals can only happen with the right opportunities. That’s why we are providing more superior choices in academics, athletics, the arts, service and leadership, and Career and Technical Education (CTE).

For over 15 years QCUSD has offered both Dual Enrollment and AP courses. In 2016-2017 over 285 students took one or more AP exam sponsored by the College Board. Our dual enrollment classes are primarily with Chandler-Gilbert Community College and Gateway Community College. The Maricopa County Community College System is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and has written credit transfer agreements with over 90 universities across the nation including our three state schools.

New additions to our 20+ AP and Dual Enrollment courses: American Sign Language Calculus BC (AP course) AP Statistics Biology 100 (Dual Enrollment)
AVID, Advancement Via Individual Determination, brings research‐based strategies and curriculum to educational institutions in elementary, secondary and higher education. The philosophy is ”hold students accountable to the highest standards, and provide academic and social support.”
